Privacy
What SaaSClimb collects, why, and how to delete it. Last updated 2026-10-19.
If you're just browsing
- You don't need an account to browse, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.
- Our hosting providers keep standard request logs, such as IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
If you sign in
- You sign in with GitHub. We save your GitHub user id, your username and your primary GitHub email address, even if that email isn't public on GitHub. We never see your GitHub password.
- We use your email only to tell you when one of your projects is approved or rejected. No newsletters and no marketing.
- We set only the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
- Your GitHub username and email aren't shown on your project pages or in the public API.
Projects you submit
- We store your project's name, website, description, logo and banner. Once a project is approved, all of these are public.
- An admin reviews every submission. We keep its status and any rejection reason, which only you and the admin can see.
- Every week we fetch your homepage and check it against your description. To do that, we send your homepage text and description to TypeSafe, an AI service.
Metrics
- Stripe: you give us a read-only restricted key. We store it encrypted and use it once a day to list your active subscriptions and calculate your MRR. We save only the resulting MRR number. We don't store your customers' names, emails or payment details.
- Your own endpoint: we store its URL and fetch it every hour. We save the labels and numbers it returns.
- Metric numbers and charts are public. You can hide a metric's label, or show growth only instead of the real numbers, from your project page.
Services that handle your data
- Cloudflare: runs our API and stores our database and images.
- Vercel: hosts the website and runs page-view analytics.
- GitHub: handles sign-in.
- Stripe: only if you connect it, using the key you provide.
- Resend: sends the approval and rejection emails.
- TypeSafe: runs the weekly homepage check.
- We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Deleting your data
- Deleting a project from My projects removes it along with its metrics, its images and any Stripe key.
- Disconnecting Stripe deletes the key and its history. Disconnecting your endpoint keeps its history until you click Delete history.
- To delete your account and saved email, or to ask what we hold about you, email support@saasclimb.com.
